The IKON Window suite is a series of extruded aluminium profiles designed for both light commercial & residential applications that can be installed into either timber sub-frames or direct to brickwork. The system is available in either mill finish non-thermally broken or thermally broken using the latest pour & de-bridge resin fill technology from a range of over 250 stocked colour lines. The range offers a variety of outer frame options that include 70mm Direct Fix as well as 45mm equal and odd leg variants & a range of vents that include both internally and externally beaded options. The suite also allows a variety of locking systems to be used that include in its simplest form cockspur handle locking through to espagnollette and shoot bolt systems. The system can also be used in conjunction with our Curtain Wall & Shopfront Framing ranges. The window system has been weather tested to BS 6375: Part 1:1989 with test results cross-referenced by BS 5368: Part 1:1976, Part 2: 1980 and Part 3: 1978. The system is watertight at 600pa and achieved category C air permeability. Thermal simulation testing has been undertaken using Therm 2.1a and Window 4.1 according to prEN ISO 10077-2 using the alternative edge method as described in ISO 15099 achieving a u-value performance of 2.2 W/m2K.
